Will Dubai International Airport issue an official “Operations Advisory” citing weather delays or diversions today?

Outcome: NO

How this forecast is settled

Will DXB issue a weather advisory today? Disruptions are possible, but full advisories usually require broader impact.

Resolution

NO, Dubai International Airport (DXB) did NOT issue an official "Operations Advisory" citing weather delays or diversions yesterday (Tuesday, April 21). While the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued a "Yellow Alert" for dust and rainfall affecting the emirate, the airport itself maintained standard operations. In a signal of resilience, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed (Crown Prince of Dubai) actually visited DXB yesterday to review passenger services, effectively countering any narrative of operational failure.
