Outcome: NO

How this forecast is settled

Will any Lagos depot quote diesel above ₦2,000 per litre before October 20?

Resolution

No, this did not happen. While the retail pump price of diesel (AGO) did cross ₦2,000 per litre in certain retail filling stations (specifically in Abuja and its environs) during September and October 2026, no Lagos depot quoted or reached a diesel price of ₦2,000 per litre before October 20, 2026
